Nelson Removals and Storage was founded by our Managing Director - Peter Nelson back in 1974. Operating with one van, he offered removals and general haulage in the Dumfries and Galloway area. Since then we have grown but still remain a family run business. We have built a warehouse in Scotland and have premises in England. The company image has changed and we are now known as Nelson - The Removal and Storage Company Ltd.

Our service is Nationwide and we can offer full and part loads to and from all locations in the UK. For those moving further afield we also operate services into Europe and Shipping across the World.

As a professional Removal and Storage company, we are members of the British Association of Removers (BAR). This organisation constantly monitors us to ensure that we are providing the best service to our customers.

We specialise in Household Removals as well as Commercial, Office and General Business moves. Even troublesome items such as your prized piano or your fireproof safe pose little difficulty to us- we have all the equipment and expertise to move them for you. Don't forget we can also provide you with Containerised Storage in our Secure Warehouse should the need arise.

Our warehouse hold large stocks of packing materials - which we can supply to customers wishing to self pack. Alternatively we offer a full packing service for additional peace of mind.
